Rolling on Interroll – ROI

In this text, we introduce the reader to the ROI group.

ROI is an abbreviation from "Rolling On Interroll", which would literally be translated from English as Rolling (moving) according to Interroll (meaning the Interroll Company). However, the meaning is a little different and represents movement on the roll produced by Interroll.

ROI Group

This group was formed by Interroll 2015 year with the idea to bring together the highest quality small companies dealing with different areas within intralogistics, to connect them in an open and very effective and engaging way. What these companies have in common is that they cooperated with Interroll even before joining the group, which gave Interroll the opportunity to evaluate, verify and select the really best small companies globally. By engaging large resources and manpower, Interroll has created ROI network that today consists of 100 companies from all over the world. The fact that when Interroll chose members of the group, it had one in the goal that two companies never come from the same field but only one, the best.

Trasing had the honor of being invited to the group at the very beginning and today, besides company TECA, Slovenia is the only company from the territory of the former Yugoslavia that participates in the group.

ROI gathers its members regularly but the most significant event is absolutely the Global Summit which is held every odd year and which gathers all participants in one place. Barcelona hosted the Summit in 2017, and Rome in 2019. The Summit was filled with lectures, workshops, talks, getting to know each other and enjoying great ambiences, food, music, etc.

What is the idea behind the ROI group?

Logically, the idea is progress in business but in a unique way that, there is no other way to say this, leaves those who are not members of the group but are in the industry - far behind.

What does it look like in practice?

I (a writer these lines / Deputy of General Director Trasing) have one small yellow book, ROI publication which lists the members of the group. Who are they, where are they, what is their area of business and expertise, their contacts, etc. All these companies are available to us immediately, under the most competitive terms of cooperation. We do not have to check them nor do they check us. Interroll has already done that by inviting them to the group – absolutely recommended as reliable, professional, accurate, etc. It means a lot in the business. Immeasurably practical because you have nothing to compare this approach with.

Here is a real-time example: Trasing now has several ongoing projects. The most significant and largest among them - CIAK Auto Croatia takes place by making abundant use of the help (read top products at the best terms) of our friends – the company that are the members of the ROI group and which we did not know before. Even if we knew or met them at the fairs, conferences, recommendations – it would take a long time to win the full trust and competitive conditions and everything else that makes up a partner company relationship. So at the moment, in the assembly department has the products of the members of the ROI group, which together with Trasing's products will form a unique system that was conceived and created by a team of our experts.
